Sponsoring health care students in Palestine: Investing in the future of health care
At PANZMA, we work very closely with the doctors and allied health professionals of Palestine. We recognise the hardship these professionals face as students. Often lacking essential needs for their studies, many of Palestine’s future health professionals battle through their academic lives. Support a health professional student and make a meaningful friendship as they progress through university to a career of helping people (medical student, nursing student, physio student, podiatrist etc…)
Health care students in Palestine face many challenges and difficulties in pursuing their education and career, due to the lack of resources, opportunities, and support. They often struggle to afford tuition fees, books, equipment, and transportation. They also face barriers to access quality education, training, and mentorship. They also face risks and threats to their safety and security, due to the ongoing conflict, occupation, and violence.
At PANZMA, we believe that health care students in Palestine are the future of health care, and that they deserve to receive the best education and support possible. Our goal is to sponsor and empower health care students in Palestine, by providing them with scholarships, grants, loans, and other forms of financial assistance, as well as with academic, professional, and personal guidance and development.
We sponsor and empower health care students in Palestine by:
– Providing scholarships, grants, loans, and other forms of financial assistance to cover tuition fees, books, equipment, and transportation costs for health care students in Palestine
– Providing academic, professional, and personal guidance and development to health care students in Palestine, by connecting them with mentors, tutors, counsellors, and coaches, who can help them with their studies, career, and well-being
– Providing opportunities and platforms for health care students in Palestine to network, collaborate, and exchange with other health care students, professionals, and organizations, locally and internationally
– Providing recognition and rewards for health care students in Palestine who excel in their academic, professional, and personal achievements, by featuring their stories, granting them awards, and inviting them to events
